Investigation into allegations of Covid irregularities: No politics of revenge wanted - DCM
CM Siddaramaiah led state Congress govt have decided to probe alleged COVID irregularities during BJP rule in the state. Former Congress MLA and previous BJP govt health minister K.Sudhakar alleged it is a vendetta politics.
Speaking on probe into alleged COVID irregularities during BJP rule in the state, Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar says, "...We don't want to do any vendetta politics. We want there to be justice. 36 people died due to (lack of) Oxygen (supply). But Minister said that only three people died. Should we not investigate? Not even a single staff has been suspended. No one has been held accountable..."
BJP Karnataka leader K Sudhakar on the COVID irregularities probe by the Congress government says, "The political vindictive approach of this new government has started. If there is any irregularity, we have an autonomous institution 'Lokayukta'. They have bypassed it...They want a report to suit their political requirements."
